‘독일 게임컨벤션 07’ 라인업 공개

8월 22일부터 28일까지 독일 라이프치히에서 열리는 게임컨벤션(GC 2007)의 참가업체와 주요 타이틀이 공개됐다.

독일 '게임컨벤션' 공식 후원 매체인 유로게이머는 ‘GC 2006’에 참가하는 주요 업체와 타이틀을 공개하고 지난해에 이어 올해도 차세대 게임기의 3파전이 예상된다고 보도했다.

소니는 플레이스테이션 3<PS3) 타이틀을 주로 선보일 예정이다. EA는 <크라이시스> <C&C3: 케인의 분노> <헬게이트: 런던> <피파 08> 등 PC 타이틀 기대작을 대거 선보인다. 이외에도 액티비전이 <콜 오브 듀티 4>를, GOA가 <워해머 온라인>을 공개하고 코드마스터즈는 MMO게임인 <퓨리>의 플레이 가능 버전을 선보인다.

유로게이머는 참가업체 중 아직 출품작을 밝히지 않은 업체의 타이틀 리스트를 추가로 공개할 예정이다.

한편 지난해 5일간의 일정으로 열린 ‘GC 2006’에는 총 18만명의 관람객이 다녀간바 있으며 올해는 20만명 이상이 몰릴 것으로 예상되고 있다. 지난해 ‘E3’와 ‘도쿄게임쇼’에 각각 6만명, 17만명이 다녀간 것과 비교하면 가장 높은 수치다.
